Bowl of "Soul"

The weather here is pretty chilly this week with most mornings in the single digits and it has me craving warm and cozy drinks!

I have been having a popular drink at the local coffee shop (Java Twin Falls) down the road, called the Bowl of Soul. It is a mocha made with Mexican Hot Chocolate, it is really divine truthfully! Yet, I find it to be a tad too sweet for my liking, so naturally I had to recreate it!!

So here is my version of a Bowl of “Soul”. The fun part is, you can make adjusts to your own personally liking to be just PERFECT!

Enjoy!

8 Oz Warmed Coconut Milk (Or Milk of your Choice)

4-8 Oz of Drip Coffee (If you have espresso use that) Optional

A couple of spoonfuls of Mexican Hot Chocolate “Paste” (find recipe for the Hot Chocolate Paste at the bottom of the page).

A dash of Nutmeg/Cinnamon

Heat Coconut Milk in Saucepan, add the Chocolate paste until melted. Pour into glass, use frother to blend, add coffee and blend some more until nice and foamy on top. Sprinkle with additional Nutmeg or Cinnamon.

Sip, Enjoy & Stay Warm Friends. Xoxo
