Endurance Balls

Great as a pre-workout snack, fuel for a hike, trail run or bike ride!

Ingredients://

1/4 Cup Tahini

1/4 Cup Almond Butter

1/4 Cashew Butter

1/4 Cup Unsweetened Coconut Flakes

1/4 Cup Honey or Maple Syrup

2 tbsp Chia, hemp seeds and buckwheat groats (I like to use these). The buckwheat groats add a delicious crunch

1/4 GF oats

1 Ounce Guarana seed powder

1 Ounce rhodiola powder

Pinch of mineral sea salt

I was eager to make an energy ball that had delicious ingredients yet was also had a touch of herbal essence. These hit the spot for our recent long trail run in the mountains.

These balls are packed with wildly nourishing ingredients, tahini, almond/cashew butter, sea salt for electrolytes- the two that might be new to you see below!

Guarana Seed Powder- Need a pick me up?? This berry can keep you on your A game, thanks to its energizing effects on the body and mind. Antioxidants, promotes energy and focus. Please note: if you are sensitive to caffeine you may want to omit or reduce qty.

Rhodiola Rosea Powder (if you can’t find powder- just grind er up yourself!) reduce stress, combat fatigue, increase mental performance and improve physical and mental fitness and resilience.

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and stir until the mixture is ground fairly fine, and begins to ball up into a thick paste. Line a small baking sheet with parchment. Turn the paste onto the parchment paper, and roll balls into 1” balls. Enjoy immediately or store in the refrigerator. Great to keep in a stasher bag for long adventures!!

Enjoy and stay wildly nourished!
